I was in Rome in mid-Oct and attended a program of opera arias performed at St Paul Anglican church on Via Nazionale. It was a string orchestra with 2 vocalists in Baroque costume. Has anyone else seen this? If so, I would so appreciate knowing the name of the group and it's website or any other info that would help me track down a recording for my mother-in-law who very much enjoyed the evening. Thanks!!

There's a problem. The web list of Anglican churches in Europe, at http://www.europe.anglican.org/directory/webdir2.html#ITALY says that the church in Rome is All Saints, and gives details thus:
email: allsaints_roma@hotmail.com
Chaplain: The Reverend Jonathan Boardman
All Saints' Church,
Via del Babuino 153.
I don't think this matters. You can just e-mail Mr Boardman, and put your question.
Ben Haines, London
Ben, there are two Anglican Churches in Rome: All Saints belongs to the Church of England'd Diocese of Europe, the other, St Paul's-with-the-Wall to the Convocation of American Churches in Europe within the Episcopal Church of the US.
You can e-mail St Paul's Church at stpaul@mclink.it to ask details of the musical group.
Hello Doris,
I've found a listing for a 'Concerto Opera' at St. Paul's with soprano & baritone soloists, with music by Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, Bizet & Mascagni. Does that sound familiar?
If so it's called I MUSICI VENEZIANI
Hope this helps ...
Steve
