Which country should I visit - doing Paris and London this December? I would love to go to to New York. or Singapore or Vietnam. Any other exciting trip that you would take and why? And can you suggest accommodation and activities to do there please? Point form answers will be great. e.g.
City to visit: Paris:
Accomodation: Holiday Sun
Activities: Eiffel Tower
Reason: It's Paris
Sorry sometimes when I see a lot of words I skim through subconciously and then I miss the details. I"m not really attention to details until I literally force myself to do it. I hope no one is offended or think I'm weird. Just human ![]()
I plan to take the trip next year December 2013. I'm not too concerned with the weather. I want to take three weeks on the trip just focusing on that particular area. I will be travelling alone until further notice. I'm from South Africa so that's out.
Thanks guys
Planning my next trip already

Short message specially for you: Try Southern Poland in 2013

You can get familiar with the region on my new blog:
http://geographers-eye.blogspot.com/
I try to fill it up several times a week.
Enjoy
eMgeograpaher- please expand on your Southern Poland suggestion. I am already planning a Southern Poland for July 2013 to include Slovakia and Hungary. Planning to arrive in Krakow.
Viajero2, what are your preferences (cities, villages, museums, cultural events, sport activities, etc.)? How many days you plan to spend in each country? You will travel by car or using a public transport?

Starting from Krakow...I lived in this city for around 8 years and I think that very good idea is to rent a bike there, especially in the summer, and go along the Wisla river for example to the monastery in Tyniec http://www.tyniec.benedyktyni.pl/en/about-workshop-tyniec/
You can also visit such a things like:
- Kopiec Kościuszki - nice view of the city http://www.kopieckosciuszki.pl/?x=start&lang=en
- Nowa Huta and the old town - you can go with Free Walking Tours http://freewalkingtour.com/index/ - I took part in it and I think they say many interesting things about the city - after that you can decide what more you want to see
- the Jewish district http://www.krakow.pl/english/6316,artykul,jewish_kazimierz.html - beside it's historical value, it is a place where you find many cozy cafés and pubs
