Planning A Trip To Scotland (Part 2)

Jump to last reply

Hello all again, I made a topic a few days back saying I'm planning a trip to scotland. I was told my budget was a bit shy (I believe I said something around 3K) I live in chicago IL. And that is where I'll be flying out of. where I'm flying into is a bit more tricky. I have to talk to my friend and ask where is best for him and all that.

I'd like to do a sub-trip to manchester with him I went to a planning site and they put an est price of 970 pounds for that trip for both me and my friend as my treat.

I'll be there for five weeks. we're going to be doing things around the area also like playing soccer and stuff like that.

I'm only 19 so I have 8K set aside for stuff like this. I'd like to keep it inside that, I wont need a motel/place to spend the night I'll be over at my friends place.

So bottom line. Need a round trip ticket from IL to scotland. need some type of transport from the airport to his place (That's up in the air if he picks me up) and money for food I'm not just going to eat all my friends food and not return anything for it haha. and we need to stay under 8,000USD. can we make this happen? the trip is set to take place in early April (I understand spring is a slow season) over all of this I want to spend as few money as I can.

Thank you!
