Planning a trip
Hey everyone. I am planning a trip and am making a quick stop in Ireland. I want to either visit the ring of Kerry, the dingle peninsula, or the cliffs of moher. I can't decide! I'm looking for beauty and an overall great experience. Thanks!

Exactly how quick and which airport? Not being rude but without that info it's hard to help.
All the places you mention are on the west coast so if flying into Dublin you need to factor in travel time.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
To get the best of the ring of Kerry you need at least 2 days and to get off piste away from the tour bus route.
Dingle's population triples in summer yet few of the massed visitors actually see more than they can view from a car or bus window.
The Cliffs complex is 1/2 a mile of a 5 mile cliff run and far from being the only sight in west Clare or the highest/most scenic cliffs around the island.
All that said many visitors come over and within less than an hour fall in love with the places.
It depends what you yourself want to experience, do you want to see what everyone else see's or are you up for taking a side road and discovering somewhere different, do you want a 5* Castle hotel complex or how about looking for the scruffiest looking pub on the street and finding out that's where the locals are having the craic.

For me, Dingle is the prettiest - but it's also the hardest to get to, being furthest from an airport, so if you only have one day I wouldn't recommend it. Exactly how quick is your "quick stop"?

Some of us who live here, who know a great deal about Ireland, and who have never read Rick Steves, want to go to Dingle again and again.
I'm fine with differences of opinion, but it is bad form to suggest that those who disagree with you are ignorant.

The town is on the vast majority of 1st time itinerary questions, several because they have read about it in the Rick Steves guide (even though the perception based on descriptions are 30 yrs out of date).
I wonder what nasty response I get for being critical of other places I say are fine to visit but I wouldn't recommend staying the night.. I have to wonder because for anywhere except Dingle, it doesn't happen.
Makes me also wonder why I do sometimes suggest the place.
