Just reminded me of something funny. We were in Dublin and myself wearing a green Kerry hat when County Kerry lost football match to County Meath. So many spoke or nodded to me and expressed grief in pubs.

I really don't know of anywhere they will be playing college football in an Irish pub. Your best bet is to stream a game on your PC and watch from your hotel room.
http://www.woolshedbaa.com/dublin/whats-on/us-sports/ they show NFL but doubt they do college games.

That game is taking place in Dublin. Cultural enrichment or something. Probably something.

The "AER LINGUS COLLEGE FOOTBALL CLASSIC" (not quite sure what makes it a 'classic')

Apparently the 9th American college football game ever played in Ireland

We happened to be there for the Croke Park Classic (PSU-UCF) in 2014. As you would expect, Temple Bar was overrun with fans attending the game. There was one pub designated for UCF and three for Penn State. I don't recall if there were any televisions inside the bars and if they were tuned to other NCAA games. They were very packed and noisy (well, not so much the UCF bar after the game).

Not the weekend I would want to be in Dublin. I knew people that went to the Penn/UCF game. Hotels are sold out though and great for Dublin business. I checked out the Temple Bar webcam that Saturday night. Packed like St Patrick's Day.

Randy, enjoy!

Not sure if College games are broadcast but the Woolshed Baa on Parnell street had all the NFL games on when we were in Dublin. We were at the PSU-UCF game in 2014 and had a blast. The influx of people made it difficult to find seats in pubs and it was hard to get into most of the touristy attractions (ie Jamison, Guinness) because of the very long lines. Think about staying an extra night or two in Dublin after the crowds have gone to enjoy the local flavor.
