Belleek Pottery Factory for the museum, guided tour and of course shopping! Don't miss the Specials table. And just down the road is Celtic Weave China pottery, more of a Mom and Pop outfit but they have some lovely pieces.
I'm at work (shhhh) and don't have my atlas or notes but I know there are some other options. Back later.
Thanks - great ideas
Enniskillen is a neat little place with a shopping area called the Butter Market, and Marble Arch Caves and Lower Lough Erne in the neighborhood.
Lots to do in the Sligo area:
Carrowmore
Knocknarea
Glencar Lake & waterfall
Creevykeel
Gleniff Horseshoe
Rossnowlagh (nice beach)
and farther back southeast, Lough Key Forest Park is nice, along with Kells and Loughcrew.
If you really want to stray out of a straight shot, think of the Ulster-American Folk Park north of Omagh.
Sigh. So many choices.
