We are going to Frankfurt on business and looking for somewhere to stay within a 30 minutes radius of Frankfurt. We are hoping to avoid staying in the big city and are looking for more of a country inn or small hotel just outside of the city.

It's more than 30 minutes, but the Hotel Krone in Assmanshausen is lovely and just across the street from the Rhine. You are in the wine country here. It's a hotel, but not too big.
Hello- we stayed in a beautiful little town called Rudesheim (or something like that!) It's right on the Rhine, and easy to get to, also for castle tours along the Rhine. I don't rememer the hotel, but we just took the tran from the Frankfurt airport, got off and walked around til we found something. It's really a nice area, could be considered touristy, but we liked it. Have a good time, and don't miss the castles.
