Places or Things to Photograph in Provence in the fall

My husband and I will be spending a week in Provence this October and we're looking for recommendations of places to photograph specific to the fall season. I guess what comes to mind are vineyards and things of that nature but having never been in the fall, I really have no idea. I'm assuming the leaves change color?

We'll actually be going back in June/July next year to capture the lavender but I wondered if there was someplace we shouldn't miss while we're there in the fall.

Yes, we will have a car so that won't be an issue!

Thanks for any insight!

Most of Provence is extremely photogenic. Vineyards in the Rhône Valley come immediately to mind for the fall, but just about anywhere and anything should inspire you.

Thank you both...I just wanted to check before I left. My fear is coming home and having someone say, "Oh, you should have gone to xxxxx, it's beautiful in the fall!"

I know we can check out postcards when we arrive and sometimes that gives us ideas but I like to prepare as much as I can beforehand.

ILUVPARIS, we will be in Provence in October, too, and are really looking forward to it. We've gone twice in the spring and are anxious to see the difference in the fall.
Have a great trip!
