Place to Stay near Dingle, Ireland
My husband and I are planning a family trip to Ireland next summer and I'm looking for places to stay neat Dingle. Does anyone know of a place to stay on the Dingle Peninsula that's comparable to Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare? I would love some recommendations of beautiful, clean, friendly places to stay further up the coast as well since we hope to travel some of the Wild Atlantic Way. Thanks!

Unless memory fails me - and it often does - there are no multi-star boutique hotels on the Dingle peninsula.
There are a number of upscale B&Bs.
In Dingle itself Castlewood House is very stylish, and the breakfasts are superb: http://www.castlewooddingle.com/. They allow themselves the small vanity of describing themselves as a boutique hotel.
Right next to it (and the proprietors are of the same family) you have Heaton's. I haven't stayed there, but they exist in the same market niche: http://www.heatonsdingle.com/. I have eaten in Heaton's and their restaurant is very good. But Dingle is a foodie town, and there are many other good dining options.
Both are purpose-built, so they offer better accommodation than might be possible in a modified family home.

Dingle is new tourist having only been tourist central since the 1980's it doesn't have the history of Killarney/Kenmare and other established places. I suppose Castlewood and Pax House would be the higher end of the ladder by Dingle town. Ballyseede Castle would be a good option to explore the peninsula being right by Tralee at the entrance to the peninsula.

We loved our stay at Greenmount House in a lovely balcony room. The food was delicious and John & Mary Curan were wonderful hosts.

If you decide to stay in town, highly recommend both Doyle's Restaurant and their next-door boutique townhouse. I'm sure the restaurant is in operation, not sure about the town house. (Read Trip Advisor for ratings)
stu (whatever you decide, you'll enjoy Ireland mainly for it's top attraction....the people!)

with the third I'm under the table,
by the fourth I'm under the host!"
