Pit Stop from Westmeath to Listowel

Jump to last reply

I am sure I will be posting several questions over the next few days as I just discovered this forum, but I will start with what I hope is an easy one...my sister and two daughters (ages 9 and 7) will be traveling to Ireland from August 19 - 29 for a family wedding and lots of sightseeing. About five days in we will be traveling from one set of family members in Westmeath to a second set of family members in Listowel. I would like to make a pit stop along the way to break up the trip and let the girls explore something new. If my itinerary (far from completed) goes as planned we would have already spent time in Galway and a bit of The Burren.

Any suggestions?

TIA.
