Nice pictures! <BR>I noticed one of the Hotel Thanet. Did you like that hotel? We've decided to stay at St. Margaret's Hotel on the same street, but were considering the Thanet and would appreciate any first hand information! <BR>

We are going in March and have thought about both the Thanet and St Margarets. I would appreciate detailed impressions of both as well as what you paid.

We were also considering both hotels. The deciding factor was that our travel agent had stopped by the St. Margaret's Hotel on her last trip to the UK and thought it looked charming. Our rate [for December] is just under $100 a night for a double en suite. I'm not expecting "fancy", but it sounds like some charm for the $$, even if things are a tad 'tatty' as some of the guidebooks indicate. I'll report fully on our return! <BR>
