Piazzale Roma Luggage Storage, Venice

With all of your help, I have decided to take the ATVO bus from the airport direct to P. Roma. I am staying at the Hotel Canal (just NE on the Grand Canal) which is very close however I am a petite female who will only be there one day prior to a cruise. I just read on a past string that there is storage, that would be great. Can someone give me more info: where exactly it is and what it cost so that I will have the exact change/euros.

Any other suggestions as I will be doing the same on the return, one day only in Venice.

Just to be clear, the luggage storage kybourbon mentions is in the Venice S Lucia TRAIN station, which is close to Piazzale Roma but will involve a short walk.

Hi, Bridget,

here's a link to a different board which describes a left luggage facility in the P. Roma itself. i got it by using something called google. It's not absolutely clear to me where it is, but I'm sure that you can get some more info by the same route.

have a great trip,

regards, ann

When I was in Venice a couple of years ago, we returned our rental car at p. Roma and walked down a slight slope, turned the corner on our right and just a few steps beyond was a left luggage place. It was about two door widths wide. We were staying only 3 nights, so just packed the essentials in a tote apiece for easy carrying. We were glad we did as the B&B was a bit of a hike from San Marco where we got off the waterbus.

Three days later we picked up our regular suitcases, picked up a rental car and were off for more adventures.

Forgot to say, it was the Avis rental place, though that might have changed.

Checked out annhig's link and the description sounds like the place we used.

Thank you so much, the links were great! And it appears to be a lot cheaper than the train station.

To help others who will use the search function in the future: Deposito Bagagli is located on the West side of Piazzale Roma next to Pullman Bar.
