I'm considering booking this apartment for October, there are a couple of reviews on slowtrav, but just wondered if anyone here has anything else to add...

I booked it and paid the deposit, back in February 2006. In May I was told it was no longer available (I read somewhere later that it was something to do with the owner being pregnant and needing the apartment) so I had to choose another apartment.
By that time our party had narrowd down to just 2 of us so I opted for the smaller Piazza Rondanini apt. But I still have the Paradiso Apartment bookmarked as it does look so nice!
Rome is a noisy city, but if you are using airconditioning then the windows are closed and it's not that noticeable.

Thanks, Julia. I have stayed by the Campo 2x, but on what I consider the "quiet" side, on via del Pellegrino and on via dei Cappellari. The Paradiso apartment looks nice enough and is spacious...I actually think it's priced suspiciously low.
