Thanks for sharing! Very nice!
Your photos remind me of why Varenna is one of my most favorite places in Italy. Thanks for posting !

The pictures were lovely--especially the lacy wrought iron framing the water scenes. How many days were you actually at Lake Como, Bellagio, Varenna?
Wonderful! I really gotta get mine up from our May trip.
You had great views from your terrace! Your photos make me want to go back again.
I hope you are going to frame DSCN3546!
Thanks so much for the compliments. I was in Lake Como for only two nights....I got one of those all day ferry passes. I loved it so much I plan to go back next year in a more leisurely fashion. Thanks flygirl....3546 is one of my favorite shots. I told my boyfriend that Varenna makes anyone look like a great photographer, it is so stunning! btw, for anyone planning to go, I would recommend staying in Varenna at the Hotel Villa Cipressi(?)....it looked just gorgeous and very reasonably priced.
We visited Lake Como and Lugano as well this summer. I loved the market in Lugano. Can't wait to go back.
Thanks. You had so many gorgeous pictures I thought you might have spent several days getting them!
Absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to go back to Lake Como.
Thanks for posting these. I'm planning a trip to this area and your shots are providing lots of help.
Wonderful.
Thanks for the comments. For anyone planning a visit to this general area, try to fit Bergamo in. My camera battery died so I had no pics of that last day but it was gorgeous and great food and shopping for such a quaint hilltop village/town. Milan is probably the most common port of entry and if you stay in Milan and like museums, please try to visit the Pinoteca Ambrosiana. It was a treasure! I also enjoyed strolling the Navigli area in Milan in the evening.
