Photos from our recent (and brief) trip to Belgium
Hi all. Ms_go, allie_go and I enjoyed a 4.5-day quickie-trip to Belgium last month (early June), and took more than a few photos. Ms_go has edited and captioned the highlights and posted them to our usual photo site... you can find them here:

We based ourselves in Ghent, had a nice daytrip to Bruges (of course), spent our last night near Central train station in Brussels, and generally had a very nice time. I won't bore you with a full-on trip report, because it was such a quick trip and, frankly, others have already written far more and better about these cities than I'm going to. But if you have a few moments for 46 photos, they actually aren't half bad. Mostly.
I do, however, want to give a special shout out to the city of Ghent and to our accommodation there, De Waterzooi apartment. Their main B&B looks fabulous, situated on a fabulous old square overlooking historic Gravensteen castle, but we stayed in a terrific, modernized 2-level apartment in an historic building on the street across the square. Can't say enough about our stay there, or about the friendly and accommodating owners, or about the town itself. Exceeded every expectation. Seriously, if you are considering Beligium at all, go stay there.
Sorry for the absence of a trip report, but if you have any specific questions, please let me know. Cheers!
