We have a chance to swap houses with a family in Galway, Ireland. Does anyone know what to expect as far as daily expenses, other than accomodations, go? How much for restaurants, for food in supermarkets, for gas for the car, for theatre tickets, admissions to historical sites, etc?
Thanks!

Our weekly shopping bill is around €95 for me and a dieting other so could be a good bit less for a eat the same food couple. If we eat out its good pub grub at between €10-€15, last concert was Tommy Flemming at €30 each Michael Flatleys Edge of the world on the Cliffs of Moher is €72/ticket. Rock of Cashel €6, Birr Castle €9 Bunratty Castle and Folk park €10. Currently at a high price fuel €20 per week for around 160 miles average. then there might be Electricity, Gas etc.
Galway is a wonderful area and quite a large county with lots to see and do, but then I am biased, we chose to live here on the Slieve above Lough Rea and Lough Derg.
