Pension Peters or Hotel Pension Bregenz in Berlin?

My family of 3 will be in Berlin for 5 nights in late March and I'm considering 1 of these 2 pensions. Any comments or experiences with any of them? They both have good reviews on tripadvisor. The Bregenz in close to Adenauer platz and Peters close to Savignyplatz (which I think is closer to the Zoo station). Which do you think is a better location? Thanks for any help.

I stayed at Hotel Am Savignyplatz, which I enjoyed. I passed by Pension Peters at times, and the location and hotel seemed good from the outside.

Hi, Gina.

I was considering staying in both of those places for our upcoming trip. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

But, although the public transport system in Berlin is excellent, I decided to stay closer to Mitte, in Prenzlauer Berg, since we were looking for a Marais/Greenwich Village type neighborhood where we could walk to all the attractions.

We ended up booking an apartment, which reduced our costs considerably. I'm sure you'd find it cheaper, too, with 3 people. (Many of the apts listed have "winter" rates, too).

We've booked ours with this company: http://www.bandb-ring.de/p/rberline.htm.

They speak English and have been extremely helpful and responsive.

Pension Peters also has an apartment in Mitte, by the way. It's on their website.

Have fun!
