Pena Palace
Plan on visiting Sintra on a Friday in Oct. Wish to see Pena Palace, Moors Castle and Quinta de Regaleira.
Would skipping interior of Pena Palace make sense given lines and crowds or is there time to do all with break for lunch b/f visiting Quinta in afternoon, walking there from old town? THanks.

Hello Andie,
You should definitely visit the interior of Pena Palace If you have time, you should first go to Sintra National Palace in old town and than take the bus to Pena Palace... it's faster than walking
If you buy a combined ticket you'll have a discount (depending on the number of places, it can go from 5% to 10% discount).
Enjoy!

You would be an absolute fool to skip the interior of the Pena Palace. The Meissen room is worth the admission alone.
I don't remember any long lines, only for the bus outside.
Do take a taxi up.
