Passport expires a few weeks after our return trip :/

Jump to last reply

We are travelling at the end of the year (almost five months from now) to Italy, into Milan, out of Rome....and my kids' (16 and 18) passports expire ten days after we return to the USA.

I wouldn't think that would be a problem, and yes, barring 'issues', we could renew them in time....but, the ever wise Rick Steven's says it could be an issue in some countries.

What do ya think?? Should I just go ahead and renew, or what...I called the passport office to see how long renewals are taking these days...or if they knew if Italy was an issue with that, but, well, you know...I got transferred around, and eventually disconnected.
