Parking near Leaning tower
Hi,
Which non-ZTL parking lot would you recommend to part the car, when driving from Florence to see the leaning tower and a bit of the city center?
Thanks a lot.

There is a lot north of the field on Pietrasantina street. A huge lot for tour buses and cars.
I see, you are still sticking to driving a car between two close by ZTL cities extensively connected by trains.

If I used a car there I would eschew Pisa the city itself -nice but not remarkable and motor on over to Lucca - one of europe's finest walled cities known for its many medieval towers and Roman relics - even there you can easily take the train.

Hi,
Thank you fellows.
Greg,
Could you please share a google-map link to that field?
Pietrasantina looks like a very long street, and I was wondering how close to the leaning tower that lot is.
PalenQ,
Thank you, we'd consider it.
We'll get from Florence to Monterosso, so both Lucca and Pisa are good choices for stopover.

Oh so you are going from Florence to the Cinque Terre by car - now that makes perfect sense to park at the Tower area which is on the edge of Pisa - drive around the town center - no problem but can't drive in the no-drive zone in the center so watch out for those signs.
