According to www.trenitalia.com, there is parking at the Empoli station.
In my experience, the environs of Empoli are crowded and difficult to navigate. Are any other stations an option? How about Montelupo Fiorentino? But perhaps you are familiar with Empoli and the area around the city. I find it unpleasant and confusing and plan to avoid it like mad in the future. Seems we can't get near the place without some sort of traffic problem. or worse, getting lost.
I am not at all famaliar with Empoli, it just looked like a good location to train into florence from. You mentioned Montelupo Fiorentino. Is this a better location for me to consider? Thank you,
Empoli isn't exactly New York City..you'll understand when you get there...the station looks to be out in the middle of nowhere. I somehow doubt you'd have any trouble parking at, or near, that station.
