We stayed there in the winter of 2001 and it was fine. The location was great...only about 2 short blocks from the tube, with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, atm's...all right there. The hotel itself was not fancy, but not bare bones either. Sort of a Holiday Inn equivalent. The hotel had a continental/buffet breakfast included...and there were computers in the lobby that you could pay to use. We would definitely stay there again!
I stayed there in Dec 2001 and agree with the previous post. Also, if you do a search for this hotel you'll find it mentioned in a number of posts.
I also agree with the previous posts. Just stayed at this hotel. I would recommend a "superior" room though if you want a bit more space. I didn't see a "standard" room but our superior room was not that roomy so I'm guessing a standard room is real small.
topping for cary
Just got back from a week in London at the Park International. It's nothing special and a real maze of hallways. Actually got lost going up and down levels. The first room I got was TINY. literally the entire room was 7 feet wide and maybe 15 feet long. I could barely pull out the desk chair without hitting the bed. I did speak to the desk immediately and they upgraded me at no charge.
Location was great though. Easy access to the tube as well as an little shopping area with restaurants. I might stay there again but I'd look at other places too.
terrible!!!!
don't go by the pictures on their website. the rooms aren't nearly that nice.
