ParisBestLodge Marais Apartment

We are considering renting Studio Rivoli from ParisBestLodge for a week next March. I have read what there is, but threads on ParisBest are only as new as 2009/10. Anyone with more recent experience?

I haven't rented this particular studio with parisbestlodge If you are asking in general about renting with parisbestlodge, I have rented other studios with them on 4 trips and have already booked a 2 bedroom with pbl next April and a 1 bedroom with pbl next August.

I find that their pictures are an accurate depiction of the apartment although maybe a rug might be different or a different duvet.

I have rented from them twice, most recently Dec/Jan 2012-2013. Haven't stayed in that particular apartment, though. Looks good! Here's a recent thread about them, payment methods, etc.:

There are many threads on Paris Best Lodge since 2010, you must not be searching properly. There is a problem that recent posts aren't indexed, but I think I found a couple dozen from 2011-2014. You have to be sure to click the box about searching the entire post and then put paris best lodge in quotes in the search box. Here is one that mentions a Rivoli apt.

Thanks everyone. I will ignore your comments on my searching techniques Christina, as always there is probably a kinder way to respond. No wonder new people get turned off. But I do thank you for the links and advice. We will move forward with the apartment; one reason I chose the location is that it is near where friends are staying while we are there.

social; We have rented from Regis in the Maris using www.specialapartments.com Our apartment is in the fourth row of photos--middle. [3 bedroom]
Four nights 6/30 before departing for Nice on 7/4.
Every question we had was answered in a very timely manner.
Have fun deciding.

We are staying in one of their apartments next month...not Rivoli. I'll give you an update upon our return.

maitai,
We will be stayinga their Notre Dame apartment on the left bank starting mid-September. Are you in the same building? I know they have several apartments in "our" building. It would be fun to meet you if we are neighbors!

I have stayed in that apartment twice and will be using it again next year. I have loved the experience.
First Thierry is an absolute joy to deal with, reliable and honest.
The location is great, the building has an elevator, closet space is good, there is a washer dryer , wifi works really well, there is a small balcony and your view is over the roof tops of Paris.
The furniture may be a bit tired looking but that has not bothered me.
I have only used the apartment as a solo traveler, however it is fine for 2 people.

Hope you enjoy your trip.

Deal is done, bought a stamp and mailed off our deposit. I really appreciate the comments.

Forgot to ask you where you were staying Tom . When I get a breather from unpacking, going to reread your Paris thread.

Just seconding the endorsement of PBL and Thierry. Have stayed in two of his units.. always clean and as pictured.. and he is easy to work with , very reliable and reasonable. I would rent from him again!

We have also rented studio apartments from PBL 2 times before and been very pleased. The representatives are efficient and friendly. The apts. have been exactly like the photos online. We will be in the studio on rue Rivoli early in October......looking very forward to it 'cause of the balcony and the wonderful roof top view.

There is a ton of info in other threads on the forum. This is a good refresher, but a simple search will turn up a lot of additional, more detailed info.

I can recommend Paris Best Lodge. We used them in 2012 and 2013. The company is very reputable as is Theirry, the manager. Although we have not stayed in this apt., we did stay in the Castex which is just a few blocks from there. This one looks nice and I like the location. I will give it the thumbs up.
