Hi guys! Just wondering if any of you have heard of Paris35.com? It's a website for booking inexpensive Paris hotels. I've been mainly looking on hostelz.com, hostelworld, etc., basically the usual suspects, but Paris35.com seems to have some great deals, too!
Is it legit? Reputable?
Thanks!

Never heard of it, but it's another website offering "budget accommodations". They don't appear to have any exclusive properties, so you can add them to a list of dozens on the internet.
It's interesting that they say they have been around since 2003, but according to research, Paris35.com was founded on Fri, 25 Nov 11.
I've read elsewhere that they've been around since 2003, but I can't really find much on them.
They don't seem suspicious to me or anything, I was just hoping someone here had booked through them successfully. Though I suppose I could just contact the hostel directly to confirm my booking, if I want to make sure...
Is the rate better than what you would get by contacting the hotel/hostel directly..? If the same rate, I prefer to deal directly with hotels..
I've been to the hotel before but I can't seem to find their website anywhere online. So I'm not sure how I would book directly through the hotel itself...But I WOULD rather do that if possible.
Do you want a hostel or a hotel, it isn't clear, and which one do you want to book?
It is true some real cheap hotels don't have their own websites, but if you have no way of contacting the hotel (I'm sure you could call), you can't check to see if the reservation is made okay. If you could do that, you'd probalby make it directly.
That website is run by a company called Engrande.com in Barcelona and they've been around since 2003 with variations in different countries. I think it looks okay, here is a wikipedia article on them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budgetplaces
Thanks Christina! I would go for either a hostel or a cheap hotel, but the one I'm leaning toward right now is Hotel de la Comete, because that's where I stayed last time I was in Paris. However they have some other good deals too, so I'm not discounting those.
I am a little concerned about not being able to contact the hotel directly to confirm the reservation, though.
