Paris: Transportation from CDG Airport to Port de Javel Bas (cruise ships)

Paris: Transportation from CDG Airport to Port de Javel Bas (cruise ships)
Greetings, Fodorites! 
The hubby and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in July with a 7-day cruise on the Seine River; so excited!!! Could someone please tell me the best way (that is, the least expensive way!) to get from the CDG airport to the Port de Javel Bas (cruise ship area)? We will each have one piece of luggage, so riding a train or Metro should not be a problem.
We are also spending a few days in Paris after the cruise; yay! Again, I would appreciate if someone could direct me to the correct metro to take from the Port de Javel Bas to the Hotel de Les Fountaines du Luxembourg (near the Jardin du Luxembourg.)

From CDG, take RER B to St-Michel and transfer to RER C toward Versailles. Get off at the stop Javel - walking distance to the ship.
From the ship go to the Javel metro station (a different station than the RER) and ride Metro line 10 toward Gare Austerlitz and get off at the stop Odeon.
