Paris to Amsterdam train tickets

Oh I am so frustrated! I am traveling Paris to Ams in May. I got into one mess with PREM tickets for earlier in my trip (I have purchased but can't print) so I delayed getting the tickets for Paris to Ams while trying to sort out the first mess. Now all the PREM fares are gone! and it is so much more expensive!!!! Do you think I should purchase a regular fare ticket now or wait and hope more PREM fares show up. I need to travel on a certain date but time does not matter. Will more cheap seats be released? Should I look for a cheap fare at another site besides SNCF? Thanks! SueC1

When are you going? What price are you seeing?

Have you tried looking for a roundtrip fare, even if you only need one way?

I did a search, and at this moment, if you buy a ticket on the 9:25 AM Paris-Amsterdam one-way on 5/23, you can get that 25-Euro price.

Well evidently there is one PREM ticket - I need two - if I book the one PREM - where do you think my traveling companion will end up on the train? Would you book one PREM and then get a second regular fare on the same train?

I think you can choose your seats. So choose one some distance back (with a higher car/voiture number), and most likely your companion will be able to choose a seat next to you. But your companion will definitely be able to get a higher-priced ticket somewhere on the train.

You can also try www.ns.nl but I and someone else here have had some problems using that site.
