OK, I looked it up and I'd eat there!
I'd get the 60'e degustation menu in the eventing, as well!
It is Taillevant's answer to a passion for wines matched with food...the website said. In the 8th on Rue St. Honore... oh yes.. .I'll eat there (Closed Saturday and Sunday; and from now until 8/23)

Not sure 2 yrs ago qualifies as lately but we had a wonderful dinner there. The tasting menu was terrific. You may want to check recent reviews at www.gayot.com or www.patriciawells.com. One point, when we went it was mostly French and there was lots of cigarette smoke.

I can unreservedly recommend this restaurant in the 8th. As you know it has the same owner as Taillevent, but is considerably more affordable. The chef was #2 to Michel Del Burgo during his reign at Taillevent. You can request non-fumeur.
