I will admit I've never been to Herme, but based on the constant kudos ( and pictures) I can see a road trip ahead.

Hermes shop looks like a jewelry store, it's so beautiful. He declared Macaron day, a few days ago and gave out three different ones free to all who came.

Wow! I thought the box of macarons I bought fromRenard Grégory on the rue St-Dominique last week looked (and tasted) great, but seeing these I think I need to aim higher........

If you live in the northeast part of the country you can get Pierre Hermes baked goods, including his macarons, at the supermarket chain Wegmans. Each of the supermarkets has a Pierre Hermes bakery which is almost as good as being in Paris.
