Thank you robjame. I sent for my brochure for Apr 08. I gather I cannot buy now. On the site--what does a "red" title vs a "black" one mean. Could you look at the April 13 to 21 schedule and make a suggestion for the Opera House Garnier. We would love to see the inside during a performance.
We were very fortunate to see a ballet at Teatro Verdi in Florence a couple of years ago. It was the highlight of our trip. You can E-mail me if you wish. Thanks for you time Dave

The red title means a new production while the black is a production that has been staged before.
"Le Prissionier" should be a good performance at Palais Garnier for your dates. The singers are good and though I haven't heard it..it's a very short one, so it won't be very hard
If it was for me, I would prefer very much going to the Bastille Opera and see "Il barbiere di seviglia"(on your dates also), a very funny opera. But that's me, though

I am new to Opera, Dave. kenderina is certainly a much better resource than I. You might consider posting a new thread as I did:

The experts will be happy to come to your aid.
I thought that the red titles were premieres, but maybe that is exactly what kenderina is saying.
You see that your first opportunity to order is Jan 9 and that is only by mail or internet. I guess if you order early they keep your mail until the date - I did internet before.
I guess what performance you go to depends somewhat on the importance of the venue to you. For me it had to be Garnier and would mean Le Prisonnier.
