Paris Museum Pass: 2 day or 48 hours?

Hello everyone, I am headed to Paris next week, and I am interested in the 2 day Paris Museum Pass. I was curious whether the Pass was for 2 consecutive days (ex. Tuesday and Wednesday) or for 48 hours (ex. activate at Arc de Triomphe at 9pm on Monday and it will be good for 48 hours, until 9pm on Wednesday?)

I am trying to come up with a loose plan for my days with the pass, and I obviously wanted to maximize my value.

Thanks!

Appears that it is two consecutive days. You write the first date of use on the pass. They recommend you start using it the morning of the first day to maximize the value.

A lot (Orangerie, saint chapelle, arc de triomphe, pantheon, louvre, etc), but i am only interested in the 2 day pass, and I am curious about the parameters.

It's good for two days, not 48 hours. So not practical to start it at night.

Two days, there isn't a start time that is recorded; Do have someone from a museum fill in the start date. They write some of their letters/numbers differently than we do in the US. We wrote in the start date and then have to keep explaining when we started using it(It was an issue with a number, not the difference between the US written date and the European written date). I can't remember now what the issue was, but last year we had someone at a museum fill it in and never got asked about it the way we did the year before.

Europeans switch the days and months in dates (well, actually WE'RE the ones that switch them), so January 11, 2012, for example, would be 11/01/2012 in France. It's easy to see how they would think your pass wasn't valid if you used the American date system.
