"Paris Mont 1 ET 2"

Greetings. I will travel from Paris to Bordeaux, Libourne to be exact. As I search the train schedule I see that the boarding station is as referenced in subject. Do I presume correctly that it is the Montparnasse station?

Thanks.

Yes - there are two main parts of the station - actually three with the Montparnasse-Vaugirard (sp?) part of the station included.

1 et 2 are two separate stations adjacent to each other and collectively called Gare Montparnasse.

TGVs to Bordeaux usually leave i believe from the main part of the station near the front entrance.

Yes, Montparnasse is sort of stretched out now, and there is Montparnasse 1, 2 and even 3. If I say that "Montparnasse 1" requires the least walking, I'm sure that you can figure out the rest about 2 and 3.

My recollection is that the TGV left from the part of the train station off the Boulevard Pasteur.

Hello to all...I have a question about a quick overnight in Paris. I will arrive from Pisa on EasyJet at 5:40...and then will take the same Libourne connection from Paris, leaving the next day. Any advice on a good simple hotel for the night? I have stayed at the Novotel at the ariport...perhaps that is still the best.
Thanks, Psj

Hi PS,

Check www.biddingfortravel.com for Le Meridien Montparnasse

It is right at the train station. Usually goes for around $110.
