It looks like we can take Paris Metro line 1 from the Gare de Lyon to the Charles de Gaulle - Etoile stop to get to our hotel, which is on Rue Beaujon near the Arc de Triomphe. Can someone confirm this for me? Thanks.

yes, you can do that, you can take the RER, also. I can't confirm where your hotel is since you didn't give the address, so it may not be right near the metro, of course.
RER is quicker and cars are bigger and more comfy - same price one metro ticket. but yes Ligne 1 may have a stop closer to your hotel but from Gare de lyon is Charles DeGaulle-Etoile take the RER that stops much less.
The RER A is direct and faster, but some people prefer line 1 just for the people watching and seeing all of the stations along the way.
Thanks to all. Hotel is at 14 Rue Beaujon. Sounds like the RER would be best since it will be very late (around 11:30 PM).
Hey Az,

Ask the experts:

Actually at that time of day (night?) the line 1 metro probably runs more frequently.
