Hello!
We are planning our honeymoon (end of Oct/beginning of Nov) to Paris, Switzerland and Berlin. Right now we have 3 nights in Paris, 3 in Lucerne and a week in Berlin. Does this sound like too much for the 2 weeks? Anyone have any suggestions of hotels to stay at or places we MUST see!?! Thanks for any suggestions!

Well unless you have been to Paris before would reverse the amount of time in Paris and Berlin. Also, you need to be aware that Nov is when many places is Switz close for the year to get ready for the big ski season (hotels, restaurants, cable cars etc). So you should check that what you want to see wil be open when they re there.
As for hotels - you need to give us a budget - a specific amount per night - and your expectations - keeping in mind that Switz esp is very expensive and that rooms n Europe are generally much smaller than those in most US hotels.
Even though I'm partial to Berlin, I too would recommend 4-5 full days in Paris, 2-3 full days in Luzern and the rest in Berlin.
Suggestions for hotels will, as noted above, depend on your budget/requirements. If you can let us know these you'll get some great suggestions. To start you off for Luzern, have a look at Hotel des Balances. Stunning hotel, stunning views (ask for lakeside balcony) and right in the old town. Great for a honeymoon if that's in your budget. And as for places closing down to prepare for the ski season, you won't have that issue in Luzern itself, but check the closing time of and cog rails (eg the one going up to Mt Pilatus) if you intend doing some mountain trips as they do usually close these down when the snow line creeps down the mountain and the rail can no longer run. There is still a cable car operating all year, but they do close these down for maintenance once a year, around the time you'll be there, so check websites for dates/times.
How are you travelling between each destination?
The trip up to Rigi Kulm out of Luzern is still open at that time of the year (until 10. December), and I highly recommend it in good weather!
