Paris Hotel / Location Suggestions

Jump to last reply

Hi there! I've been reading through all the previous posts of Paris hotel suggestions...however none are exactly my situation/question. Sooo I figured I throw it out there. Going to be in Paris for 4 days (wed thru sat) in October with my 17 y/o daughter. Our intention is to hit all the classic tourist spots, (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Louvre, etc) and have one or two GREAT meals. Ideally, the hotel will be in a "touristy" location so we don't spend much time having to find our way around. But I'm not really sure where that would be. Budget...up to $300/350 USD per night. From what I'm seeing the more American style hotels (definitely my preference) are pretty over priced. Certainly let me know if I've over looked one. We are also NY'ers and I travel quite a bit for work so kind of particular. Aside from being a walkable distance to some attractions, must have NO smoking rooms, a/c, wireless internet, on site restaurant/room service, and double beds. Yikes...any thoughts?
