A bunch of us will be at this dinner party on October 1, if you can make it. Wear your fodors pin if you have one!

Yes, please join us!! But I don't have a fodor's pin. I may be wearing a faux leopard pillbox hat though.

Hi Melissa!

Hi SeaUrchin! I always wear my pin--I brag to anyone who will listen that the very generous elberko gave hers to me!

Seaurchin, sorry I will miss the Paris to do as I won't be in town. Just to remind you, though, that faux anything is my forte.

Hey Melissa and SeaUrchin, I will have a toast on October 1st to toast you two enjoying the Jim Haynes dinner. Guess I will have to make it a Sunday morning mimosa what with the time difference. The sacrifices I make, sigh!!!

I'll be there too - can't wait, 25 days!! I wonder what one wears to this soiree. I wonder if Eiffel Tower Diva will lend me her pants.

Barb, with your Eiffel Tower pants and my leopard organ grinder monkey hat we should be quite the pair. What are you wearing Melissa?

OMG the pressure!! now we have to look appropriate for the photos! (Don't worry, I'm a photoshop GENIUS.) Well, about the only thing I was planning on was something with an elastic waistband--you never know how much I can really eat, not to mention ...... won't I need to take leftovers home in a ziplock? LOL.

That just applies to us Fodorites -- we will tell all about the other party goers.

Now that I think about it, I think I am half serious about the elastic waistband!

My husband and I were lucky to grab a last minute spot at Jim Haynes also. I wouldn't have known about it without you all talking about it. Thanks....it sounds like fun.

What does one wears at these things anyway (so we'll be able to pack some something appropriate or not)

Hi MelissaHI,
Yes we will be there...it sounds like alot of fun! We are also doing a group bike tour via Two Fat Tires to Giverny. We thought both of these would be a great way to meet other people on our trip to Paris (2 weekes worth).
