Paris - day tours or independent?

Jump to last reply

We will be on our first trip to France and Paris this September. I am wondering if the 'skip the line' guided tours of landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral are worth the extra cost. I was looking at Viator which offers seveal tours in Paris. I am thinking for a first time visitor there may be benefit to guided tour.

Has anyone been on these tours, or would you recommend just going to the venue and purchase tickets on our own?
