Paris Best Lodge Apartments -- Has anyone stayed at these 3?

We are going to Paris for two weeks in the fall and are considering these three apartments. Has anyone stayed at any of these three?

I know the agency gets good reports and I am comfortable renting from them, but my husband is wondering how we go about getting the cash to pay on the spot -- we're not really that comfortable carrying a lot of money around and how do you go about getting the cash. I know you can increase the amount of daily withdrawals from an ATM, but enough for 2 weeks rent withdrawn in one day? Has anyone arranged some other form of payment with them?

What we did for our three month trip was this: we opened another checking account with a nominal amount of money in it. My husband and I each had an ATM card for each account so we could make four separate withdraws at one time. By doing this we had enough for all our rental payments.

If this will not work for you I would ask Paris Best lodge if you can pay the remainder a couple days later. I would not think that would be a problem since they are getting most of the money up front.

We tried to rent from Paris Best Lodge on our first trip to Paris but after months of back and forth emails it turned out the apts were not available in the month of August due to the owners being out of town. I did find the owners very helpful and quick to reply to emails. I would not hesitate to use them.

Have not stayed at any but of the three would go with the third -eiffelapt - for its space and great location. Stayed near there last Summer and loved it.

As for the issue of getting sufficient cash to pay the rent - this will not be the first time they encounter this, so do not hesitate to ask if you can pay in two installments if necessary. michele_d also describes a good option.

Hi,
Have rented with PBL and sent a bank transfer for the apartment rental just before I left.
Didn't want to carry cash around and this seemed the easiest solution. Worked ok
and am doing it again this summer.

Hi vanne,

These all look lovely too! I'm sorry, but I'm SO enjoying your apartment search! Hope you find the perfect one!

About payment. I've found that it's possible to arrange a one-time huge ATM withdrawal with your bank. Just explain the situation and ask them to allow you to make a one-time withdrawal of $xxxx on a specific date. I've done it before, and it worked fine.

Have fun!
