Paris art exhibit and restaurant called the Smoking Gun
I am headed to Paris over Thanksgiving and had read an article about a great travelling exhibit in Paris that combines Monet and Picasso... anyone have any ideas where this is and where to get tickets?

Also - has anyone heard of a restuarant called the Smoking Gun? A work colleague of mine was raving about it but she can't remember where it is located.

Don't know about the Smoking Gun . . . but how about the Nanking Gun? In looking for the Smoking Gun on the web, I came across this salon.com article:

"In search of the best Chinese food... on Earth"

A year ago, the author and his wife-to-be, May-May, set off on what may have been the longest food run ever made -- a circle-the-globe excursion in search of the world's best Chinese restaurant. In this installment, they carry their peripatetic palates to Paris.

http://www.salon.com/12nov1995/departments/feast.html

I'm not sure what the above link is, but the exhibit's web site is www.matissepicasso.org

It is at the Grand Palais, not the Pompidou. The Grand Palais web site has some info and says it is best to reserve in advance, which you can do from this page I think
http://www.rmn.fr/index-gb.htm

In fact, it seems to say you can't get tickets on site the same day. YOu can also call 08-92-684694
which is a Paris pay number.
