Paris apps
Hi all, One month from today, I'm off on my adventure to Paris with mom. Yeah! I have a question about Metro apps for the iphone. Does anyone have any experience with them? Is one better than others? Should I just stick to an old school Metro map? How about any "Around Me" type apps for restaurant suggestions? Any thoughts?

My recent report:
“MetrO” this is a free app which works offline. It details a trip from one station on the Metro to another. It covers many cities in the world. I have used it in London, Barcelona, San Francisco as well as Paris. http://www.kinevia.com/

I'm with DebitNM - I had an app with a metro map, but found the paper map much easier than scrolling around.
Yelp appears to have a Paris section. That's my go-to for finding restaurants, etc in the States.

Last time we were in Paris we stayed in the 18th and as well as using the paper metro map I found the following app very useful: Paris Metro - Map and Route Planner. It's a free app and I'm pretty sure it works offline - the feature I used a lot was the route planner which let you calculate how to travel between stations either by the route with the fewest changes or the route which is the fastest. These can then be saved to favourites.
