paris- villa d'estrees v. hotel d'aubusson

I'm torn between the two. Not a whole lot is written about d'estrees and I would feel safer choosing d'aubusson however the 100 euro per night difference is tempting. Is d'aubusson worth the extra? Can those familiar with both please compare and contrast?

I stayed at d'aubusson and it was nice. The room was pretty basic. I was a little disappointed with the decor. The location was fantastic. There is a bar in the lobby and a jazz duo was playing there one night - very cool.

I'm not familiar with d'estrees, but I do plan to stay somewhere else next time I go to Paris.

Villa d'Estrees is very nice- have stayed there twice in past 2 years. Rooms are larger than most in the price range, nicely decorated, nice bathrooms. Very comfortable. Location is very convenient- only drawback is noise from the local Irish pub on a football night.

Thank you for your gracious replies and I apologize for my self-serving ttt but I am hoping for a couple more responses. Thanks in advance.
