Ok, I've always thought that Paris is the City of Light (or Lights), but in another thread, someone called it the City of Love, and when I asked about it, someone else agreed that it was the City of Love. Hmm! I just looked on a couple Paris websites and see references to "City of Lights"...what does everyone else think? I've lived there and visited numerous times, and thought I KNEW this (like you just KNOW some things!) but maybe I'm going senile...

Hi, well, I am one of the people who called it the city of love, and I have heard that many times. Maybe it is called that too? I am not sure, but I have always heard it called city of love, not light. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's both.

Hi sheri, I've also always heard Paris referred to as the City of Lights. Recently I read an article about how many Parisians are enrolling in the School of Seduction to better learn how to attract the opposite sex...amazing! Anyplace which would take such things so seriously as to have a school, should certainly qualify as the City of Love.
