Paris - Hotel Monceau Etoile

Hello.

Is anyone familiar with this hotel in Paris, please? It is near the Parc Monceau and the Metro Villiers.

Thanks in advance.

Have a good day.

Reviews for Residence Monceau Etoile here are not great

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...de_France.html

At that website click map this hotel and you'll see the location.

It's a residential area in the 17th arr near but not so close to Parc de Monceau. It's rated 2.5 stars and it's not a full service hotel (an apt type place)

I stayed 2 times in this neighborhood in 1999 and really liked it (didn't stay at this hotel, though). I would stay again but I'd try this one:
Hotel Jardin de Villiers
18, rue Claude Pouillet 75017

The Parc Monceau is a short walk away; Metro Villiers is about 5-min walk, and you pass Monoprix, rue de Levis' market street, shops, launderette, cafes, and more. It is quite nice there.

I think you might have been asking about this Hotel Monceau Etoile, not the 'Residence' mentioned above.

64, rue de Lévis 75017 Metro: Villiers

There aren't any comments on Tripadvisor or Paris.org... I still think the area is very nice, if you don't mind being a bit off center...

travelnut's comment reminded me of this thread in which I found mention of the Monceau Etoile on a website called Jacktravel.com Here's the thread with discussion of other hotels in that area too.
