We're staying there in a month, based on our reading of guidebooks.
But be forewarned. They insist on a modified American plan. That takes some of the joy out of travel.
Have a wonderful time.
Ben

We just returned from Italy and spent three nights in the Palazzo Ravezza. Both my husband and I recommend it highly!!!!! We spent hours just looking out our window at the Tuscan hillside (we were in room 41). The hotel has a plan with just breakfast (hardly anyone takes it) or a plan with breakfast and dinner. I am a bit of a food snob, so the idea of having dinner three nights in a row in the same place concerned me. But I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to have a fantastic meal and enjoy a drink on the patio and take the elevator up to the room. (We always ate a big lunch somewhere on a day trip, so we ate very late) The hotel is very easy to get in and out of and traveling to Pienze, etc. is very easy.

We spent two nights there last Oct. and loved the atmosphere. My husband and I were on top floor overlooking the garden, and the view of area was just so beautiful. I agree with Tracy, the food in the restaurant was delicious and it was nice to sit outside after dinner. We had one of our best meals at a small Siena restaurant (lunch), and if I can find the name of the restaurant I'll email it to you. The palazzo is well worth the stay!!!!!
