I have been reading the many posts about this apartment and noticed that you have stayed here recently.
Which apartment did you have? There are just the two of us - and while price is always a factor with us as budget travelers - I was wondering if there was a major difference between the 1st two tiers of accomodations.
In reading the posts, I have found most of my questions answered! I did wonder if the "stove" was one with an oven or a microwave?
Hopefully their prices won't rise by next October!

Our apartment was called Basillio, 4th floor I think (?).
I'm not the one to ask about the stove since I never turned it on -- and only used the refrigerator for juice, water, and cheese. I don't even know if there was a microwave or not.
I'm trying to figure out what you mean about the difference in price between the two tiers of accomodations?
Brahmama - We stayed in "Berta" (one or two flights up) in March04. This apartment was very nice and I would definitely recommend it.
Patrick,
By the "Two Tiers" I meant the different categories:
Berta was Euro 130 - 160
The next highest category (which you stayed in is) Euro 160 - 190
The highest category is Euro 260 - 290 - 2 bedrooms or more, I'm sure.
Sundowner,
Since you stayed in "Berta", do you recall anything about the stove? If there was one? Did you prepare any meals in?
And thanks to both of you for the reply.
Carol
We didn't cook meals but I believe there was a two burner stove with a small oven. Just email Carla or Stephen and ask them. They'll be more than happy to answer your questions.
We stayed in Fiorello for 10 days this past January. There was a cooktop and refrigerator, can't remember anything else as we only snacked in the apartment. Ask via email the owner, Stefano, and Carla are truly lovely.
BTW, we loved our stay!
