Hi all...two questions:
(1) Buying the card and the chapel tickets at the same time.
I would like to buy a 48 hr Padova Card and also get reservations/tickets to the Scrovegni Chapel. However, I foresee a timing problem.
We arrive in Padova by train and would like to use the card immediately (on the tram).
However, if we buy the card & chapel reservations on the chapel website (which seems to be the way to do it), does that mean we have to go to the chapel to pick up both the card and chapel tickets...or can we use our printed receipt to pick up the card at the train station, and then pick up the chapel tickets later at the chapel?
(2) The time duration of the card.
Is this an actual 48 hr card (that is good 48 hours from the time you first use it) or is it a 2-day card that runs from midnight to midnight.
We arrive Padova around 4 pm on a Friday and leave around 2 pm Sunday - less than 48 hrs later but spanning 3 calendar days.
Will the 48 hr card cover our entire stay?
Thanks.

Hi...I just checked the Padova Card website and answered my second question in the way I had hoped -- looks like the 48-hr clock does not start ticking until first use of the card.

Follow-up...
I found out we can buy the cards and tickets online; then pick up the cards at the train station when we arrive and get pick up the tickets later.
Excellent!
