Advise please we are 2 ladies in early 70s, quite active wishing to travel Aug/Sept 2013
for about 3 weeks, sad but neither of us feel confident hiring a car and driving in London
This is what we have in mind spend 3 to 5 days in London B/B accommodation if close in.
Travel to Sussex via Sutton Surrey (looking at family history) area where they lived
Travel to Crowborough see Rothenbury Church Turnbridge Wells and Battle
Travel to Dorest Somerset visit graves
Onto the Cotsworlds sightseeing love to stay in thatched cottage
Is there anyone out there who could help us with a plan, or advise how we could get around. If we could stay on quiet country roads without the freeway driving, may be game
to give it a go.
Thanking all who reply
