Otherchelebi Can you Help Me?

Hello Otherchelebi,

I have been desperately searching for the name of a small family hotel between Feyithe and Oludeniz. It was mentioned in one of your trip reports, I believe, but it could have been a comment you made on another thread. I am at a loss to give you more details. I cannot remember if the coast was visible or not. If it was not, it didn't matter a wit to the guests. In reviews no one wanted to leave. I believe you know the owners of this small well kept inn well, but I get the distinct impression that people love you wherever you go and consider you a friend.

Any suggestions for hotels that might fit the bill will be happily reviewed.

Thank you for your efforts and continued encouragement to travelers to Turkey.

EL

Probably the Villa Rhapsody in Kayaköy - http://www.villarhapsody.com/

A lovely place, great hosts. I've visited for the last 2 years, wish I had discovered it years ago.

Croesus is right.

It is Villa Rhapsody.

It does not have a view of the sea but has lovely and very friendly poolside garden and bar.

Jean and Atilla and their lovely daughter and their pets will do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

I do not remember which one of my trip reports I mention staying there, but have a look at the following in any case :

And the following blog of my wife has some photographs :

Livinright, thank you for the compliment. I appreciate it. We like people (and most animals)and usually feel that We are their friend, and naturally bask in the idea that they would feel the same way about me and Eser.

Just this morning Eser and I were discussing the personal space people have and how some have strongly buils fortifications and tiny spaces and how others may have moth eaten tapestries as walls. All go back to the need and ability to have psychological and social defenses from what are conceived or perceived as threatening environments and/or people.

(The above are our ideas, copy righted !! and to be written up to appear on my blog soon)

Otherchelebi and Croesus,

Thank you so much for you kind and helpful replies. I was waylaid by a health issue in the family. All is fine now and I wanted to take the time to thank you for your help. I will indeed be making a reservation at Villa Rhapsody, if I am not too late!

Sincerely,
Livinright
