Oslo in early December?
My wife and I may have the opportunity to visit Oslo in early December. Is this a terrible time to visit? I know it will be very cold, but we would be interested in tobagganing, cross-country skiing, dogsledding, etc. Is there usually enough snow for that sort of activity in early December? Many thanks in advance for your help.

You'll have to go outside of Oslo to do those activities. Perhaps Lillehamer or Geilo; someone else will surely offer more concrete ideas.
The past few winters there hasn't been any snow in early December. In fact it has been warmish (above freezing) and gray and rainy and horrible.

There is usually not enough snow in Oslo in early December for those activities, but Christmas light's up the streets very nice in beginning of December making it not so dark after all. Hopefully the downhill slopes will be open. But as said, you'll probably have to go to Geilo if dogsledding or x-country skiing.
