ORY to Paris

We will be staying at the Hilton Orly in Oct, 2011. We will purchase the Visite Pass or one like it to use the HOHO buses and to get into attractions. These passes only cover Zones 1-3. Orly is in Zone 4. Should I purchase bus or train tickets to get into Zone 3 and then use passes? I'am not sure how to make this happen but I'am sure some of you more savvy Paris travelers will know the anwser. Will appreciate your suggestions.

The Paris Visite Pass is good for zones 1-6. That said, they seem to be exorbitantly priced ($35 for a DAY????). I would just buy a carnet of regular métro tickets and pay the extra for the RER or shuttle into Paris.

Thank you for your input. I think that will be my best solution.

mytnole,

The Orly Hilton is not very convenient for visiting Paris. If you plan to be in Paris more than a couple of days I'd strongly advise you to change to a hotel actually in the city....

I thought it was two Ho's because it made stops in Pigalle and the Bois de Boulogne

St Cirq thanks for giving the real answer and i am chagrined a bit not to have realized that, I guess!

anyway Paris Visite IMO is a very poor deal for the average tourist.
