Opinion on best time to visit Louvre

Jump to last reply

When is the best time to go to the Louvre. We are leaving in a week and trying to finalize our schedule. 1st day we are going to be there we were thinking of possibly going since so far it forcasts for rain. My question is if I cannot get there as soon as it opens on Sat, should I just wait until the following day on Sun morning to go? We will have the pass so we dont have to wait in lines. We are not planning on staying at the Louvre for hours as we know exactly what we are going there to see. I am not sure if later in the afternoon would be ok. Can someone please give me some advice on their experiences with this? I also have heard to use the Porte des Lions entrance.

Thank you for your help!
